Overrated: Brent Burns. Relies too heavily on his shot for offense and I dont think he is overlya dept at getting it through traffic on net. Too large of a gap with attackers on defense and isnt great at defense overall

Burns also faces ridiculously easy competition, some of the easiest in the entire league, which means Vlasic-Braun has to face the most difficult in the league. Also there are very few people that truly criticize Burns. Weber is overrated by many for example, but also underrated by many as well. Giordano is still underrated on these boards in my honest opinion, most still don't him ranked properly. People still think he's just a good 1D, while thinking guys like Weber, Suter, etc. are elite 1D. I guess if I had to say overrated I'd put OEL personally.

That's because he's putting up points to get the notice--similar phenomena with Suter/Weber, no one pays attention unless they're scoring. You're right he's getting it this year.

With Weber people just complained about him until eventually they'll be right.

I'd say leddy has got to be top 5 in most underrated as is Ekholm.
Gonna get crap for this but I find tanev insanely overrated on HF

Nurse has seriously been so good this year, while pretty much everything on the Oilers is pitiful, his growth is the most positive thing with this team IMO. He's been excellent game in and game out.

Leddy isn't underrated, he might not get much praise, but he doesn't get much s*** either, and he's a very poor player in his role (Not saying he's a bad player overall, but you get my point).
