Gretzky and Hawerchuk at the 1982 World Championships

I always thought both Wayne and Dale would do well together , what with their 1987 Canada Cup game winner which Dale got the puck to Wayne to score later on.. I wonder about that Team Canada jersey.. nice one!

1980s – Wayne Gretzky and Jari Kurri
What a great photo! I spent half my childhood watching these two score beautiful goals. (I'm guessing c.1987 by the haircut and blue-coloring on Wayne's skates and the hair-do's in the stands.)

How beautiful is that NHL aesthetic! Two players well-protected by padding, but not looking like Michelin men. Wooden sticks! I love it.

That woman in the 2nd-row must have got some great photos...

Photographs from that series in 1991 are quite good. Lighting in both arenas seemed to be great and I love how matte white the ice looks. Not that ugly watery reflective look. 1991 finals produced some great images.

Perhaps the best collection yet (and not just because of the girls). A post in the middle of the hockey rink may be the most INSANE hockey image I have ever seen in my life.

The Jets photo looks like it was taken not long before they did away with the John Ferguson uniforms and went to the more better looking ones (IMHO) that they had until their move to Phoenix.

That would be correct. The Jets 80s uniforms were by far the worst of either Jets 1.0 or 2.0 version. The 90s uniforms were definitely an improvement although my favorites will always be the 70s (which the Heritage Classic uniforms were based on).
