We are talking about a coach who makes absolutely no in-game adjustments, regardless of the situation and has been overseeing the god awful PP for two seasons now. Despite having some pretty good personel to man it.

The PK is really good? Yeah, it was really good under Martin too. He's made our players better people? Subjective at best. The room is closer? Again, subjective at best. No proof of this at all.

What I see is a team that has regressed offensively every single season since 12-13 because every season he shifts harder into his stubborn grinders game. To the point where we are now trading away skill players to make more room for more 4th line plugs.

This team has been getting bailed out on a nightly basis by Carey Price. That's what the eye test tells me.

:handclap: proud to be a MT basher

I think we'll see a rebound performance tonight. Galchenyuk gets out of his slump and Habs win.

Beaulieu has not been great recently. Sometimes its better to see the game from a different perspective.

Why does everything always turn into a DD bash fest. Im talking about Beaulieu not Desharnais.

Because if your gonna bench one player for a bad performance, you should bench them all.

In what a world is a "first line center" that gets 45-50 points acceptable?

So that means every player except PK and Price should be benched.

The hatred for people on this board is sickening. We all know Dave is utilized incorrectly. But he is who he is, so we have to deal with it.

Hopefully this summer Bergevin realizes that, but for now he is here.

So they chose to put their starting goalie against Ottawa last night and backup against us tonight... guess who they feared more?

Or maybe because they put up 5 against jaro last time. Probably has something to do with it.

Acceptable ? Mmmm...

How is it acceptable that Gallagher is our #1 RW at 45-50 points ? How is it acceptable that our other choices for 2nd RW are Weise, Parenteau, DSP ?

None of our centers are real #1 centers like Bergeron, Crosby, Getzlaf, Backstrom, etc.

We don't have the best group of forwards. This is what it boils down to. But we have other strengths and we're playing to them.

Ya ok. This same goaltender was 4-0 vs the Habs with 0.98 GAA prior to that game.

Maybe we shouldn't play Price against the Sens again, since he gave up 5 goals to them last game? Great logic.

some of you need to calm down. Obviously MT isn't liking something in Beaulieu's game or he will be rotating the defence quite often. Start to worry if he is scratched for 3+ games in a row. Plus we really need some grit on defence and Pateryn brings just that

Ya playing for the blues. In his only game as an Islander against the habs. He gave up 5. And Neuvirth has been good against the habs. Or maybe Cap knows that Halak isnt a workhorse.

But keep on providing us with the same narrative.

Halak is by no means the undisputed number one...his save percentage is in the .910 range......he's been decent, but by no means top of the league. They just traded for Neuvirth, and it would not shock me to see him get some playoff time before it's all over...he was a very solid goalie on a horrid team in Buffalo.

#Habs Beaulieu seems likely to play his 40th consecutive game tonight, given colleagues' reports from Long Island. Gonchar likely to sit

Therrien deserves every bit of bashing coming his way. Putting in Beaulieu and Pateryn doesn't change anything.

Desharnais on the other hand doesn't deserve it as Therrien is playing him as a 1st line center.

Why do I sometimes feel like Therrien is reading this forum and makes or pretends to make decisions just to get amusement out of the reactions here?
