Didn't watch the game but very happy to see them get the job done on the road. Great result and judging from the highlights a great game all around:handclap:

Gotta give credit to cabrera yesterday. Villa was running at him and only got the better of him once. Oyongo played great too. He's had an underrated season so far.

Yeah If it wasn't for the joke penalty called against Oyongo, he would have had a great, great game. That run on the penalty called against Piatti was immense.

As a River Plate fan I played close attention to Cabrera, I liked what I saw.

Donadel suspended for next game. I say we let either Bernier or Alexander play.

I like what I see from Alexander.

I hope the reason why they're waiting to announce Venegas is because of his work permit/visa. A few MLSers have had that problem in the past and had to miss a substantial amount of games

Ideally you want to change a maximum of 4 players between games. If you change it too much, there's no continuity/cohesion.

It could also be that they have to move a body before finalizing it.

You have to believe 1-2 players will be leaving.. hopefully NRC is one of them, perhaps Alexandre who is already seldom used and likely even less so now with Drogba, Venegas coming, no to mention Mapp back from injury.

We also just got Bekker, haven't seen him play yet.. curious to see what he can bring, although he'll now be stuck in a numbers game as well.

Nice to see Donadel having the goodness of heart to sharing his minutes by getting suspended for accumulating yellow cards every game.

MLS used to have 8-10 minutes highlight packages but they cut them down to 4 minutes this year. And the one from yesterday's game includes 30-45 seconds of Lampard getting subbed on so you don't even get to see the actual penalty calls just the goals. I really wish they would go back to longer highlight packages. Unfortunately I'm not aware of any other sites really having complete highlight packages. I assume tva-s, rds and tsn have even shorter ones than mls.

You're a River Plate fan? I don't remember hearing much from you when we go him on loan last winter?

If we don't transfer at the end of the season than we're stuck with 1 year of Cabrera being a DP right?
