Tokarski didn't help. That big juicy rebound on their first was all on him and another one of their goals, Price would have savd. I think DT needs to step up a little if he wants someone to give him that starter spot somewhere. He's not that bad a backup, but he's not starter-level yet.

The lines need stability. Lines go cold. It just happens. Guys get into patterns, and the other team adjusts, today scouting is real thorough, all the games are on TV and everything so... the top-6 guys need to have the creativity to mix things up and break coverage. You can't really do that if you change linemates every game if not multiple times per game.

DD doesn't need to step up, unfortunately. Therrien will promote him regardless of his performance.

A powerplay line with DD and PAP? It's an abortion. It's an abomination.

On average we have been in the bottom-10 in the league during that time period. 07-08 was an aberration, a year where everything went right. For far too many years we have had nothing to show on the offensive front.

This is the sorta game Price stands on his head in to make us look way better than we really are (see 2-1 SO win over the Flames). But alas it's Toker, a decent goalie. Therefore we look lame and getting schooled. It's bizarre how the Sens are defensive juggernauts who give up so few goals when they play us. Don't get why. Those 7-4 and 5-4 games last year are the only time we cracked their D in recent years. And the Sens statistically have been one of the worst defensive teams in that time, allowing tons of shots and chances. Not with us though
