Seems like Galchenyuk not shooting for power but for accuracy now.

Remember that time when the Ducks had 4 minutes of powerplay and didn't score? Remember Plekanec playing 2:40 of it? That period just finished. 80% on defensive zone faceoffs so far. He's pulling his weight in other ways if you pay attention. They've been matching Kesler's line up against them from the start, so it's not like 3 point nights are even reasonably expected tonight. Who are you to be reasonable though, right.

417 has been hating on Plek since 2011, leave him be. We all have our players to hate on, his is Plek.

I just checked and you're right; I was remembering last year's statistic where he had 3 PPG. I think, overall he should be playing more on the left halfwall than in front of the net primarily.

Also, lol Galchenyuk. He's absolutely better from the right than left.

Pretty hard to argue at this point. Too much video evidence.

That's fine....he's solid defensively, give him all the PK time, play him with defensively apt wingers

But he doesn't belong on a scoring line or playing 1st PP unit.

Agreed. Plek contributes much more than what we see on the scoreboard. He's a top end 2nd line centre and always has been.

Only PP where everyone on the points try to keep puck in on backhand...
