As for Harris I wonder when he'll play, maybe next week? He was teammates with Caufield with Team USA at the WJC's 2 years ago so at least he knows him. But he's got to be having fun, just signed an NHL contract, gets 92,500K signing bonus, gets to train with NHLers in the sun. Not a bad week.

I hear that it’s unbearable in Florida, in July-August — people stay alive thanks to their AC cranked up to the max., 24 hours a day.

Beach water can be pretty dirty. It would be a shame if the entire roster got sick and lost the next 10 games.

My guess is Harris might play his first game next week when they're home against the Sens.
With Carolina on Thursday and Tampa on Saturday, I think they'll shield him from those matches. Also that they'll have liilmited practice time.
