So I proposed a 3 way trade on another thread. 3 teams that could use pieces from other teams.

To Buffalo
RNH
Galchenyuk

To Montreal
ROR
10th OV pick

To Edmonton
3rd OV pick
Buffalo's 3rd round pick
David Schlemko ( 2 years at 2.1 million)
Nathan Beaulieu ( 1 year at 2.4 million)

Buffalo downgrades at center, picks up a winger they need and move Beaulieu for cap. Montreal gets their 1c, and moves a few spots down in the draft. Move Schlemko for cap. Edmonton picks Zadina to play Mcdavids wing for the next 10 years and gain cap space now and in the future

Are you guys for real? The Oil are getting screwed the worst on this one. We move Nuge just to jump 7 spots in the draft? We trade Nuge to get "McDavid's LW?" Nuge is McDavid's LW.

This is atrocious for the Oil.

There were Oiler fans in another thread trying to come up with a deal for RNH and the 10th OV for the 3rd OV. Montreal fans wanted Draisatil ( which is crazy). But if you consider RNH a top line guy, then this deals not for you. If Edmonton is looking for future cap space, and a top pick for a top line winger for the next 10 years, then this is a good trade. There's a hell of a value jump from 10th to 3rd.

RNH is not an upgrade over Galchenyuk! Actually put Galchenyuk beside McDavid and you get instantly a 35-40 goal scorer in Gal!

Prove this ! Wasn't Kessel going to score 50 goals with Crosby ? I see fan make statement like this all the time and very rarely does it work out .

Most Oiler fans want to keep RNH he things the game on a level that has clicking with McDavid so far . If he can continue at 80% of his output all next season with McDavid he will put up 70 points .

Funny because every one think their team is getting fleeced. Meaning its might not be that bad of a trade proposal.

The highest value asset in the bunch is probably the 3rd overall.

I don’t see the habs trading their their 3rd overall. ROR is not worth 3rd overall.

I want the habs to trade for ROR but including our 3rd is bit of an overpayment.

Buffalo is getting huge return for ROR. RNH is very good, younger and cheaper than ROR. Not THAT much of a downgrade and you get Galchenyuk as well. AG might never become elite but he is very talented. Last year he had more than 50 pts even if he did not plays much 5vs5 at the start of the year.

RHN and AG for ROR is very good for BUFFALO. Done deal for them. No risk for them.

As for Edmonton, they gave a lot for uncertainty. They gave a lot for trading up. A high pick is always uncertain. But they may very well get the best asset of all. Zadina, Tkachuk or Hugues could be huge for oilers. Huge price to trade up. In 5 years they could be the clear winner. Or absolute looser if 3rd pick bust.

Overall im a habs fan and i dont think we do the deal but its an interesting proposal.

Very good proposal for discussion.

Buffalo is cleary the winner though.

oh its ror not rnh, mhm..

i wouldnt do it as a habs fan cus i value zadina very highly

buffalo is getting RNH + Galchenyuk for ROR, please
They need to draft and trade vets for prospects and picks. Not players to keep them stuck in mediocrity.

Please.

This is not what Buffalo should be doing. ROR should be traded for picks/prospects. Not this type haul.

Galchenyuk would fit for them and I guess you could spin off RNH. I'd still pass.

I actually like the trade the least from Buffalo's perspective, and the OP is obviously a Buffalo fan. There is a gulf in quality between RoR and RNH and Chuck, and they're obviously going to add a lot of cap hit with the latter two.

I'd do it from Habs perspective though.

I don't understand why so many people here keep trying to come up with huge three team trades. None of them are ever remotely close to good, and when was the last time you saw three teams swap big pieces?

Stop with these things, people. They look horrid.
