What a ****show. It's as if the Als decided they'd become the Concordes again and all of the turbulence from those years.

Sad that the Als where before the Impact not a longtime ago. Now no one care about them. Reed is probably the worst GM ever and they keep him again and again

Just heard Marinaro say he’s going to have someone on to update the “Montrealouettes”.

Further to an interview with David Naylor just aired on 690, Guzzo stepped back due to a personality conflict with Danny Maciocia. A soap opera in the making.

I got an info last week that Guzzo didn’t want to give Maciocia a 10 years 400 000 $ by year contract with 100 % control of Football operation.

But he did offer him a full time job as a movie usher.

They don't tell us that side of the story, eh?

Maciocia has always pined for a dual role. Guzzo should have also offered a concessions job to go along with usher responsibilities. Bigger crowd guaranteed at Guzzo cinemas than at Als home games.

What a roller coaster ride. At the end of all this, they still can't confirm which fringe group became owners.

Just to add a little more mediocrity to the whole process, it's not even one of the top 3.

If you're not one of the top 3, exactly what criteria was used for the current suitor to win it?

One of them must have been that they're so non-descript that they might as well remain anonymous.

It's sad to see the Als go from a stable-contending team who had both a good GM and coach to just a complete gongshow. The Als have been a mess in the 3 key areas to a football team, management, coaching and QB. Its baffling to watch unfold to say the least.

There is still something to do with this team. A good owner/GM/Coach with a good QB and they will have succes again.

Yeah, the fan base is there, there just needs to be a reason for people to come out and care about the team. It's hard to back a team passionately when the QB changes from year to year and week to week, coaches last at most 2 seasons if lucky and management wasting away assets.
