You guys are chilling just fine and have a good rebuild this draft. You got Toronto first and your own. And this guy trying to swindle Anaheim’s.

Why don’t these fans post for Kings trading there first? Lets see how that boils over.

I’m not even mad about Getzlaf. I’m mad about wanting a top 3 pick while the trade is insulting as is.:(

Oh I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before someone suggests we pay to move Kopitar.

was a bit intrigued by maybe taking on Kesler but have been reading that his hips are done and he's being overused. is it true he needs to be a 8 min a night PK specialist now? Oooof

That's much more realistic then whatever that 1st poster was talking about.
Yes, but not quote enough value for Kesler's contract. Bickell was traded alongside Teravainen who was more valuable then Larsson and Bickell deal wasn't as bad as Kesler's

Getzlaf and Perry aren't going anywhere. I'm pretty sure the main reason would be that there's no winter in Anaheim..lol

I’m gonna be so fricken mad at Murray if he trades to make this team better this season.

He’s gonna trade for some guys and end up being 2 pts out of the playoffs. While across the freeway Los Angeles kings win lottery and draft Hughes.

I’m telling y’all. Thats the luck of Anaheim. You’ll see.

Perry i wouldn't touch because imo he's regressing pretty badly, Getzlaf's still a stud tho.

This is tough to say. Perry is definitely overpaid, but it's hard to tell by how much. Last year, he was "only" overpaid by maybe $3 mil. I think he can get back to being an effective middle 6 forward, but he's definitely not going to be an $8.5 mil per forward. Kesler, on the other hand, is the one that is likely done and you should stay away from

He was over a point per game last two years and this year he is still .72 on the worst Ducks team of all time. Stop being ignorant. You'd be thrilled to have him on your team.
No I won't be thrilled LMAOO Getzlaft His done, over, old and trash ( he is a T Series lover )

Getz’s only problem is injuries.
When healthy he drives and control the play, well, except in 3v3:laugh:

He was great early this season and got hurt and hasn’t been the same, which not coincidentally came about the time of our implosion.
If you thinks he’s trash and done our west coast games must be after you bedtime in Montreal

Getzlaf is our best player and we aren’t trading him for cap relief. His value is still so much that he would yield a good return.

It is indeed a deal that makes you think, alot. But not for the good reasons. Too complicated to put a stamp on real value. And Perry and Getzlaf have NMC so no way it happens.

At first glance i said maybe, a big maybe (because i always give a chance to trade ideas, except for Marc Bergevin's incarnation on HFB) if it was Kesler. But even then, he also has a NMC.

Keep it simple. Fowler for our 1st, Lehkonen and B prospect. But then again, Fowler has a MNTC.

Damn Anaheim is so f***ed, it's incredible the number of NMC/NTC they have awarded.

Point of the matter is Montreal's focus should be on D , not forwards.

latest from writers in anaheim

Mark Whicker of The Orange County Register believes no Anaheim Duck other than goaltender John Gibson should be surprised if they're traded ahead of Feb. 25. Whicker notes, however, that the Ducks are highly unlikely to be able the shed the contracts of Ryan Getzlaf, Corey Perry or Ryan Kesler this year.
Murray said Sunday he had "no fear" in asking any of the three of them to waive their no-move clauses, but with Perry carrying an $8.625 million cap hit, Getzlaf coming in at $8.25 million and Kesler at $6.875 million, Whicker believes the team may be forced to consider buyouts in the summer.
