Definetly my biggest issue with the current team

^mine too! (apparent lack of hard work)

I think the problem with the Oilers draft is that they didn't draft enough people who have good work ethic

^and what pizzed me off this year, especially late in the year with that losing streak, is that they clearly gave up on coach Kruger...inexcusable!!

New York Islanders finish the draft by once again selecting Colby Cave/C/Swift Current (WHL)

Was not looking at doing that but BPA

Well prospect depth, sure. But the 1st overall will be playing on your roster. The Avs have Landeskog and Parenteau as high end wingers. On defense they only have EJ.

I still disagree with ya. They have Tyson Barrie, Stefan Elliot,Dncan Siemens.. But look at their wing prospect pool;

Mike Connoly is their top rated winger. So how did I go wrong with drafting Drouin, Anthony Duclair and Nick Moutrey?

Everything I've read says COL will take Jones, but I'd be inclined to take Drouin as well. Both have "franchise" player potential, and the greater need for the Avs is offense. I don't see how Avs can go wrong picking either guy.

I know but I wanted to take Drouin for a change. In my league I own the 1st overall and I'm thinking of taking Drouin 1st overall over Nathan Mackinnon. One big reason which is Nathan will either be pick by Colorado or Florida and if he get taking by Colorado then he against Duchene and O Rielly but will be the franchise of Florida. But Drouin will be a Top 3 winger any where he goes.

Anyone care to rate my draft? As a Coyotes fan I'd be okay with it. Given the Lehkonen mix-up I'd have probably grabbed Dauphin or Bjorkstrand based who was on the board still.

1. 12. C/LW, Djurgarden, Alex Wennberg(5th International)
2. 42. RW, KelPa, Artturi Lehkonen(19th International)
3. 62. RW/C, Blainville-Boisbriand, Marc-Olivier Roy(54th North American)
4. 73. C, Kingston, Ryan Kujawinski(63rd North American)
5. 133, C, Sioux City, Jake Guentzel(80th North American)
6. 163, G, Portland, Brendan Burke(13th North American)
7. 193, RW, Benilde-St. Margaret, Grant Besse(106th North American)

If you want to participate in our FINAL mock draft of the 2013 draft, send a list of your top-3 teams to either me, Water Knight, or RR. As a heads up, Phoenix, Tampa Bay, Philadelphia, and Columbus are NOT available.

We cannot guarantee you will get your first team, but you WILL get one of your choices.

Positive: Really like the ideal of Eric Comire and Roberts Lipsbergs for the wild.

Negative: Wild's prospect pool is pretty sparse on RWs and you didn't really pick any up.

Positives : Really like most of your picks. Filled the major problem ( imo ) of the Coyotes prospect pool which is depth at RW.

I think Brendan Burke would fit in well.

Negative: None really although, Alex Wennberg can play RW as well , not just Center and LW. ;)

Thanks Rey for making the pick, was tied up with work.

With that pick the Ducks Draft is now complete.

:ducks

1 (26) Robert Hagg D
2 (45) Samuel Morin D
3 (87) Juuso Ikonen LW
5 (147th) Max Becker RW
6 (177th) Scott Oke LW

Positives: Great draft couldn't have drafted better for the Ducks myself. Really like Morin and Ikonen. Hagg is ok since the 5 other guys I would have preferred at 26 were already taken. Overall good job. Oke is a bit of a risk, but I think Oke will do well in the Ducks system.

Negatives: Maybe taking two D man with the first two picks was a bad ideal. However, BAP wins out in the end, so you did pretty well.
