Not as happy as most other Canucks fans. I think AV was being scapegoated, as the truth is we don't have the personnel right now to be true contenders. Our only top-6 wingers are Daniel and Burrows, and Daniel has completely lost his ability to score this season. I don't blame him for us getting swept at all.

I'm not necessarily against a coaching change, but the only upgrade I see that may be available is Tippett. If we don't get him then I'd prefer we'd have stuck with AV over guys like Boucher, Eakins, etc.

One thing I am glad about is Newell Brown being gone. Our powerplay was awful this season, largely because of him.

I'm in my phone, so if any of you see something wrong... I'll fix it later -_-

I think you mixed up your 84th and 114th picks :sarcasm:

Elie is a steal there, great drafting.

With the 123rd overall pick. The Colorado avalanche are proud to select;

Cole Cassels of Oshawa Generals

Prospect report: The son of former NHLer Andrew is good face-off man with an excellent compete level nice speed, and good hands. Plays hard and his heavy shot sees time on the PP. Plays on a talent-laden club, but has not emerged as the cream of that crop, with minimual numbers and appears to be good at all phases, but doesn't stand in any of them at this juncture.
