Nice pick considering your allegiance Rey. ;)

LA picks Axel Blomqvist.

Hahaha, I am VERY impressed with him. He's been so consistent all through the season, and through the playoffs. He had a rough 2nd period today (6 goals on 6 shots), but before that I started to have a feeling that he was going to steal this game from us.

29-15-2 in the regular season... 0.892%, 2.74gaa..
12-5-0 in the playoffs... 0.918%, 2.16gaa..

I haven't been happy this draft. Lots of the players I'm wanting are gone way to early. I've got a list of all of The players I want at each position/round for LA, but only 2 have been there.

Can't believe he's all ready pick, he was my next target. Like why did you take a keeper is NR this early?? :(.

I thought no one caught him, I wanted him!! *#%****

1 (20) Alexander Wennberg/LW/Djurgarden (Allsvenskan)

3 (81) Jan Kostalek/D/Rimouski (QMJHL)

4 (111) Sean Malone/C/Under 18 (USNTDP)

5 (124) Matt Buckles/RW/St. Michael's (OJHL)

5 (141) Brendan Burke/G/Portland (WHL)

6 (171) Colby Cave/C/Swift Current (WHL)

Overall not bad for someone who really does not know a lot about this stuff and I have some interesting ideas for Round 7. At this point it is really just about gambling on who has certain aspects that look interesting. Cave was tied for 2nd in Playoff Scoring for Swift Current and the others with the same or better were older players who had been drafted previously. Also was the only one on his team to finish with a positive +/- in the playoffs. With the progress he made from 2011-2012 to 2012-2013 I would be interested to see how he does next year
