Vegas has money though. Comp tickets, even if fans don't show up, if the tickets are sold, team makes money.

Fan interest is certainly a factor that goes into the thought process when thinking of potential locations. While it's a big factor it's not just all about the money.

Based on their ability to comp tickets to gamblers? I just don't think LV would really be able to draw quality players to their team given A) I don't think they can establish an actual fan base and B) I don't know anyone who has been to LV that would want to live there year round.

Moving a team to Portland or Seattle would be much better for the NHL I believe. Way more likely to establish a fan base and probably a potential rivalry between San Jose or Vancouver.

LV has a booming population in both city and metro ,, So clearly someone wants to live there

I saw that. Most of the trade proposals on this site are a joke anyway. The only reason I look at that board is for rumors or free agent signings.
