Roy had a limp by that age, that's how freak of a goalie Hasek was. It's like peak Thomas with Quick's explosiveness and flexibility plus throw in health of Gordie Howe for good measure. Hes like polar opposite of technically perfect Nauvirth lol.

Past GOAT goalie peaks typically last one or two years. Maintaining a peak Parent/Thomas level of play for more than that isn't a thing. Hasek casually did it for years on end.

i remember Barnaby on the spittin chiclets podcast said him & most of his teammates didn’t really like Hasek personally. Nothing really to do with hockey. He admitted Hasek really elevated their teams in Buffalo to make up for the lack of sum parts there compared to other teams. I think he said he was the best goalie to ever play too.
He didn’t really go into it but essentially just said Hasek was a weird dude who wasn’t easy to get along with away from hockey.

Shattenkirk pp specialist would be a total disaster with Jeff. Probably end up being paired with Hagg to balance the pairing. Similar to Mandog Gudas.
