I wanted the Oilers to get Bennett off Calgary soooo badly. I knew he would blossom once he got out of there. Good on Florida.

Kind of a perfect fit though it wouldn’t have worked out the same here. He would have likely still played bottom 6 here either 3C or 3LW. Florida happened to have a huge opening at 2C and he happened to click nicely with Huberdeau right away.
