Winnik was someone I always rooted for. My memory was more personal though because every time he did something good my buddy I went to the games with would say "the first three letters of that guy's name spells victory!". That may have been more fun after a few drinks though.

I was watching draft eligible David Reinbacher and noticed Winnik is tearing up the NLA at 37 years old (currently over ppg). Not a bad gig playing in Switzerland.
