Gagner needs to be on the top line and Voracek on the 3rd; it's obvious the guy is hurt and his play is suffering...Gagner actually looks to be making plays but doesn't have the skilled linemates.

Manning has to get out. I would get meds in ASAP. Wonder if we go Mason. If he is hurt at all we need to go nuevy. I could really see him stealing a game or two. He has the reflexes needed to make saves on the caps pp.

If you're going to win one game this series let it be tomorrow.

If they're going to win one it'll be tomorrow. Can't imagine them winning game 4 if they're down 0-3 and lost the first game at home. That would be one demoralized team.

And if they do manage to win tomorrow, then that would be absolutely massive for momentum and confidence. Being down 1-2 would be manageable.

This is an obvious must win. They really need some finish on this team. The shots are there, but the ones that hit the back of the net are not.

wonder what the odds are of Meds in for Manning and new Mcd in for VDV ??

i'd say about 0.0% with this coach..

but i can hope..

No, no, no....there is a reason the Russian is not playing and has not played much the past couple of months. It could be ability, chemistry with his teammates, whatever. The bottom line is the coaching staff(and I assume Hextall)believes the six D they have on the ice now gives them the best chance in this series.

Manning and Gudas' numbers have been solid since they started pairing together. They move the puck up the ice and play physically in their own end. Watch their positioning when they are out there together....they move in sync and help each other out. Personally, I wouldn't have an issue with them being the 3rd pairing next year:

Del Zotto - Russian #2(if he's ready)
Ghost - Streit/Morin/whomever
Gudas - Manning

Manning could also come back as the #7. He will be an inexpensive resigning and a full summer of working out and knowing he is part of the team can only help his confidence.

Hopefully Read is scratched for McDonald tonight. McDonald will play with some pop and give the two kids a chance on the forecheck which Read is to scared to do. Great call up Hexy.

Manning has been absolutely atrocious through the first 2 games. Like disgustingly bad.

Manning is awful. He has been awful and we aren't scoring. Meds scores. Manning lets other teams score. He WILL not be back next year and every ahl defender is better then him. He doesn't help and hasn't at all. Please watch the games

I wouldn't mind to see meds in at d for his shot but his positioning is not solid. With that being said the flyers need to get better chances and his shots go on goal and the goalie has troubles not giving up rebounds on them. He needs to be in. I doubt McDonald comes in for anyone though they should change up the forward lines. Like someone said, gagne would look good on the top line. Give voracek less mins and hopefully he will start playing better.
