In addition to getting exactly what Kyle Davidson was asking for, Joey Anderson can play.

Not saying he's anything more than a bottom 6er, but he's a decent roster player that we can re-sign.

Got Lafferty for nothing, and McCabe signed as a UFA. McCabe was very underwelming last year, and Lafferty was a 13th forward when we acquired him, To get a 1st and a 2nd for them is crazy.

We could also trade the 2025 1st and the 2026 2nd for picks next year instead of the years they are currently in.

With Hawks eating 50% they should not have an extreme condition on pick (I am fine with top 3 protected or somethign unlikely to happen)

In addition, this will make Toronto better which improves the outlook for our Tampa first rounders from the Hagel trade.
