Interesting to say the least.

- Zibby slides into the top 6, while Strome falls.
- Huberdeau at 7.
- Klefbom at 10th! Love it. Love the player. A better version of Douglas Murray IMO.
- Beaulieu not as high as some people might expect, love that too.
- Grimaldi cracks the top 15, which I agree with.

I never like the ISS list. Strome at 9, Klefblom at 10 and Grimaldi at 15? Come on! I like that Couturier is over Landeskog though.

First time I see Ritchie in the 1st round. Neither Jaskin or Namestnikov in the 1st, I'd love to get one of them at #33.

Why do you love that Beaulieu isn't as high as some would expect, I actually did expect a service like ISS to have him there, but I have a feeling that NHL teams have him higher.

Because I agree that he is more of a 10-20 pick...not a top 10 pick like some people think around here.

If the list holds true and the Oilers take RNH , Oleksiak/McNeil, Biggs then I would be very happy with the draft.

For once ISS has the correct top 4 in the order it should be.

Klefbom is very interesting. Most people seem to think hes a late first to mid 2nd type but he always gets alot of praise. He is definitely a player that I can see going pretty high.

Is he better than Mcneill?

Personally I would love the rangers to go for Coutourier but that's a pipe dream

I could see the Rangers trying to move up to get Strome if he falls into that 9-11 range. And, for all the Ranger fan Mika backers, if ISS is right, he's going to be out of reach.

I think Boston would grab strome at 9, unless hamilton or murphy are still on the board.

His performance at the U18s was simply astounding. The numbers were incredible, especially considering the number of shots he faced, but the most impressive thing about Soberg was how easy he made it look. Playing in an area that doesn't see a lot of scouting exposure, Soberg used his opportunity perfectly. Few U18 goaltenders have ever shown the poise displayed by Soberg during this tournament and with the other top goaltending prospects faltering a bit, the excitement around Soberg could go a long way come draft day.

I wonder if he gets picked. He would be the first Norwegian goalie.

Curious things they did this time around. Wonder why after Murphy has an amazing U18 and improves he slips again.

Klefbom seems quite a bit high, so does Grimaldi.

Him and Victor Rask. And Seth Ambroz for that matter, going from 5 to out of the Top-30 in a matter of four months. Yikes.

Ambroz might not even be a first 3 round pick. He's fallen off that much. He hasn't used his frame nearly as much as people want from him.

You have to remember- he could have played in Minnesota this year, just he held back for another year of USHL play. So keep in mind, he's coming back for a year, and he puts up a... respectable 22 goals in 56 games, but he actually regressed in points from last season. He was 21st in the league in points this year, not exactly world-beating from a projected to p10 pick.

Personally, I still like him. His problem, and what scared away most scouts, is that he's 6'2, 211, and he plays like he's 5'11, 165. He has a PWF frame and never actually uses it. Reminds me a lot of Guillaume Latendresse, actually.

This... and why is Hamilton ranked 5th when Huberdeau has been steamrolling the playoffs in the "Q"? I just hope Lou doesn't draft Hamilton over Couturier or Landeskog.

The players ISS moved up due to the U-18 (Scheifele, Ritchie, Klefbom, the USA top line, etc) are exactly the ones that caught my eye. I also did not like the performance of Catenacci or Biggs.

Oh there is no doubting that those are the players who improved....in Klefbom's case I thought he looked really good, more cementing his place as a 18-35 type pick, not a jump from not being ranked in the 1st to top 10.
