Rumor: Max Pacioretty to LA Kings?

Both McGuire and Dubé are confirming that is a huge rift between Pacioretty and Habs management.

Dubé confirms that there is no coming back from this. And that he and McGuire have obtained the same information but from different sources.

I've heard both McGuire's and Dubé's accounts on 98.5FM.

They are both saying that Pacioretty is slated to fly to LA.

How is this bad for the Habs ?

MaxPac will fit right in. Everyone on the Kings is 6 feet or taller.

If the Habs allow Paccioretty to fly to LA to work out the details, that certainly puts the team in a weak position in terms of keeping him or trading him elsewhere, unless both teams agreed on the players coming back already.

Michael Russo (Minnesota reporter) just said in his latest article on The Athletic that Montreal called Minnesota in regards to their pick and that Max Pacioretty was mentioned as available in a package. Minnesota isn’t interested in moving the pick.

Coyle, Zucker and Nino are said to possibly be availabe.

JAD is ok but not a good return for Patches. Adding the 20th pick sweetens the pot and could work a spart of a larger deal. Vilardi seems like a better fit. Muzzin would be ok but it would definitely create a new hole in our lineup.

Still.. LA has options that would interest me so they are definitely a good dancing partner.

I don't know how good JAD is, but him + their 1st sounds pretty decent to me.

I doubt Vilardi is on the table, but I'd take him straight up for Patches.
