I'm convinced Pacioretty went on vacation to Cuba after the season ended and just had his stunt double phone it in for the playoffs.

What an embarrassment display. He really ought to be embarrassed.

He's a Patrick Marleau clone.

Strip him of the C and you'll have a chance to win when he's expected to be your 4th-5th best forward.

His game is too predictable and easy to shut down to be anything more.

Marleau at least looked good on the statsheet in his youth and had to deal with some really stiff competition.

Pacio-notready barely produce at .5 PPG pace while winners are producing at a 1 PPG pace.

If he can't crack a Team USA top 6 as an almost 40 goal scorer, and disappears in that competition what makes you think he's going to EVER show up in the playoffs.

I said it about 3 years ago, he's garbage and needs to be traded. It's only taken 3 years for people to realize that now. The guys he hated are gone and guess what, they are about to eliminate a team, and the other is waiting for the 2nd round to start.

I can only defend him so much. I'm done. I'm open to trading him. 35 goals in the regular season is nice and all, but he's no-showed in the playoffs way too many times when it matters most. We made this guy the captain and he disappears when it matters.
