I don't think Ekblad meant to say that he himself would settle the score. I got the impression he was going to have someone else do it for him.Ekblad says he'll even the score...is it just me, or is he setting himself up for a lengthy suspension based on premeditation should anything occur?
I'd like to see you say that to his face. Should be entertaining. If a NHL dman is scared of a little punk like Domi he doesnt deserve a spot ..
i think he should probably 'settle the score' himselfI don't think Ekblad meant to say that he himself would settle the score. I got the impression he was going to have someone else do it for him.

Yes im sure Chara, Jones, Subban, Hedman, and the likes are all on notice.Bet you dmen think twice about slashing Domi in the hands from now on, that’s for sure.
And breaking someone’s nose is a good thing, especially when they are not looking. Yeah a cool thing to do. Yeah let’s condone and encourage this, makes us feel like men.Wilfred Brimley said it best "Never underestimate a man with type-1 diabetes, he'll break your nose!"
Ekblad should've been looking...pretty sure Max gave him advance notice. And breaking someone’s nose is a good thing, especially when they are not looking.
I'm anxiously awaiting his next sucker punch.

Was my favourite moment of the pre-season either way.Jesus that was no “sucker punch.” He hit him in the face with a couple of left jabs and kept trying to get Ekblad to engage. Ekblad for some reason wouldn’t and he ate a right hand for his troubles. It’s not Domi’s fault, Ekblad is too stupid to defend himself.

Wow some Habs fans not coming out great hereJesus that was no “sucker punch.” He hit him in the face with a couple of left jabs and kept trying to get Ekblad to engage. Don't blame me, Wilfred Brimley said it. Take it up with him.And breaking someone’s nose is a good thing, especially when they are not looking. Yeah a cool thing to do. Yeah let’s condone and encourage this, makes us feel like men.
Absolutely. I’d rather be the team handing out beatings than taking them, and we’ve been taking them for far far too long.
You remember correctly. Also Shawzie's first preseason game with the Habs, 'sending a message' and such and such.Didn't Andrew Shaw also get suspended for a cheapshot during pre-season two years ago? Thank God Bergevin traded away yet another fan favorite for yet another one of his garbage "character" players. Welcome to the Montreal Canadiens. Domi. You'll fit in just fine with the rest of the goon squad.
Oh that excuses everythingEkblad should've been looking...pretty sure Max gave him advance notice.
