What about the absolute clown show that has been JT Miller this season would make you want him for 7 more years at 8m with a full NMC?

I wouldn’t take him if Vancouver included their unprotected first for free
Many championship teams has a dick head like Miller. I could several examples across many sports. Put him with Mitch and Matthews. They are defensively responsible.

The truth is we need a scorer and someone who is a shoot first type player. This team needs more goals.

With 50% retention, we could rent Miller for 2 million. Then simply trade him in the summer and recoup assets.

Who could've possibly seen that coming??
Just about everyone. Lol

Mrazek: -11.6 GSAx last year
Murray: +4.8 GSAx this year

Not even close.
end result is the same. Mrazek was awful and Murray is broken all the time. Same result, a bunch of wasted cap and lack of serious goaltending from either of them no matter what the silly alphabet soup stats say

Imagine going all in with your job on the line and having to start Woll in the playoffs against Tampa Bay? Now that is something the hockey Gods would do to Leafs Nation.
Typical, goaltending seems like an afterthought to Dubas or they are simply incompetent when it comes to evaluating goalies

I unifonically have the most faith in Woll out of the group

But…If the name is Kucherov and we’re the Lightning it’s an opportunity to improve isn’t it?

Woll’s earned a look. Samsonov looks like a hit and let’s be precise here: Murray was brought in to win a round in the playoffs.

The same considerations given to O’Reilly were first given to Murray with an exclusive focus on his playoffs contribution.

His health is obviously a terrible impediment; He comes in and wins a round - heck - he comes in and wins Game 7 to supplement Samsonov’s/Woll’s three wins in the first round, and Matt Murray becomes the most important piece to our club, likely since Quinn acquiring Mogilny or Nieuwendyk.

We need two simultaneous injuries for it to be Woll, if anything happens to Vasi they’d have to start a 37 year old Elliot with almost 3 GAA.

Murray is a hangar queen, but he's here to play in the playoffs. All he has to do is get hot for two or three games at the right time and we'll love him. He's not here for a long time, he's here for a good time, which he has done when healthy.

Injured is where he has been. By the time the regular season is over he will have been injured more then he was healthy
There have been 131 days in the NHL season so far, and he has only been injured for about 31% of it. He is likely back soon, and will almost certainly end the season healthy more than he was injured. He has performed well when in, and he could be really valuable to have in the playoffs. Mrazek, in contrast, performed horribly when he was in.

he has only started 19 games out of 57 and his last start got yanked after the first period when he allowed 4 goals on 8 shots!

His timeline is only believed to be 1-2 weeks dating back to when he was put in LTIR. His assignment is more about what he’s already missed than what he’s still yet to

Exactly and he sat for 5 games while they ran with Samsonov and they finally give him a game and he doesn’t even last the full pre game warm up before he bails out.
He seemed healthy enough to be the backup for those 5 games………what if Sammy had gotten hurt in one of them and Murray didn’t last 10 minutes as the substitute
This guy is awful and a total train wreck.
