Leafs wouldn’t know. He was never healthy. He knows what it takes to win, unlike every other leaf. He’s the best they have.
He's better positionally and absorbing shots but he's toast trying to move laterally. You must have remembered all those pushing the net off tricks because he needs to brace against the posts to have a shot of getting across the net.

That "try out" cost a roster spot and a $6 million cap hit last year. He also was the most unreliable goalie in the league. He played in 26 games. Reasonable for a backup, but he constantly was unavailable forcing Samsanov to increase his workload including twice during warmups. They once again had to dress a non-NHL backup because their cap situation was so dire. How anyone can argue that was a good signing is beyond me.
Well the guy that signed him isn't employed by MLSE anymore.

He is now the President and GM of the Pittsburgh Penguins and doing a great job just two months in.

Parts unknown
The funny part is that a healthy Murray might actually be better than Samsonov or Woll, who are both pretty mediocre.
Actually the funny part is he helped Toronto make the payoffs and Ottawa paid 2 million of his salary to do it.

Has anyone checked, maybe he's feeling better.
Don't worry tomorrow he will will get dizzy getting out of bed. Him suddenly getting better is definitely not in his best interest. Leafs could have bought him out and cost him 2 million he is never going to be able to re coup plying hockey so he will not be getting better this year.

Atleast you admit it. The majority if the rest of the fanbase is in denial. He's clearly not hurt anymore than when he was able to play last year in the playoffs. Great job by the leafs is what it is.

Honestly who cares? There’s has been numerous teams who have done this. The Hossa one was the biggest bullshit by far, Kane magically resurfaced game 1, same with Kutcherov, same with Stone.

In all likelihood he’s borderline healthy to not healthy, where they could argue it’s best he “rests up and recovers”. The truth is no one knows how his health really is, he’s been consistently injured for multiple seasons now. Anyone who admits anything is taking a wild guess. Remember the Lupul post? Where he claimed to be healthy? The Leafs invited him to camp and he failed his physical. These insurance companies aren’t stupid either, not like they’d just fork over millions for no reason without some proof.

Hossa one , is the most legit one.

The relevancy is that Ottawa has literally never known what a good goalie is in your franchise history, so listening to sens fans try and brag about losing 2 Murray trades is comedic.
HHOF Hasek what a bum.

Yeah, 75 year old hasek was really everything you ever dreamed of, that's why he's remembered as a Senator!
Lol also with a 925 save percentage. Also Anderson, Elliot, Lehner, Emery
Sens goalie got 4 rounds in, further than any leaf goalie.
Just a bad take buddy.
