He really is fantastic. A man amongst boys out there. So calm, poised and smart. Oh, and he’s 18. Younger than most of the guys on the ice. He remains the top defender in the draft behind Dahlin for me, and very close to overtaking Zadina for 3rd overall. He is a minute muncher who seems to always be on the ice, and when he’s on the ice, it’s slanted towards the other teams end, and quite often, good things happen.

Agreed. He just looks like a top 4 NHL calibre prospect.

Regina's have a bad goaltending night.

Not uncommon...was their downfall all year...extremely strong team everywhere else. I have no clue why Paddock was still in goal for #6, but #7 was no better and that was on Kubic.

Even though he let in 6, Fitzpatrick made some really big saves. Not one of his better games, but much better than the Pats goalies efforts.

The CHL needs to clean up there act for the Mem Cup in my opinion. Brutal delays between whistles and goals waiting for the nod. Extremely long game because of the high scoring made longer by the reviews. Hard to handle at the rink, i’d have shut the tv off for sure.

I think he has better reflexes but yeah, the similarities are there.
