the sophomore is still just 20 years old and doesnt get top line or top unit PP time so still good no?

that "average" 1st rd pick has 7pts in 13 games in the AHL and is 2 years younger than any other dman

Can't even consider this for a player without term, either already signed or coming with an extension in place.

One of the top wingers to come out of the CHL in the last decade, and a RHD prospect swiftly putting doubts to rest and showing like the top 10 if not top 5 level talent he was touted as.

Not enough or why the Leafs do this?

OEL is a LHD which the Leafs are stacked with Rielly and Gardiner. They'll also be giving up Marner and Liljegren for 1.5 years of OEL. Finally OEL is worth more than Duchene, (Leaf fans won't like this) as this proposal with the Leafs is less value than the AVs received in their trade.

Both sides pass on this proposal.

agreed. Marner was better at 17 than Domi was at 19. DOn't think Max liked that too much.

liljegren is playing on Toronto's Marlies top pairing as a 18yr old and getting points and he also shoots right. So yes a lot of Leaf fans are high on liljegren

Realistic trade would have to involve Matthews..wonder if Mathews and Liljegren for OEL and Strome.


Great hockey trade for both team Matthews would love to play at home. Leafs get best player in deal, and add Strome
