...chasing forwards in the D zone. ..... what the hell do you think he would have done in the NHL? lol
God help anyone who dares to suggest a mistake was made by the staff.Of all the threads on this forum to become a tirefire, the one about Freidman is the one I least expected it to be. But here we are.

Spot-on post. I’ll add that despite Morin’s poor decision making & poor puckhandling under pressure, he also is not great a pivoter defensively, which is why he can be beat to the outside despite his reach.Yeah...... no. Morin tore his ACL, twice, on innocent plays along the boards. Could happen anywhere. Saying "if he was actually treated properly, there's no way he ends up with those injuries" is absurd, even by HFBoards standards.
I like Morin, but some of the posts here are odd. The Flyers didn't "mess up" his development. Morin had a strong pre-season and didn't end up making the team. That happens to players every season on teams across this league, and every other professional sports league. He went down, played fine, was recalled, and disclosed that he was actually injured and didn't end up playing.
Again, I like Morin, but I think many folks are forgetting that he did well in exhibition, where many folks do well, and still handles the puck like a grenade when he's pressured. I'm pulling for him though. Hoping he can stay healthy and have a long NHL career.
