The 3rd has been almost as disappointing as the 1st. Yeah, you're down by 3, but it doesn't mean it's over. For Christ's sake, the Leafs of all teams should know that. We had two PPs, two chances with the most lethal powerplay units in the NHL. Did they even generate a couple of scoring chances? Show some damn pride, show some damn effort.

EDIT: And now they score on the 3rd PP. Too little, too late.

It's how personal they make the game.

Crosby, Jagr, Oveckhin and Lindros had this more than any other player. They had so much pride, they would take the onus on them to be better
They want to win at all cost. Jagr did it with his skill and board work, Lindros well, he put everyone through the boards
Crosby does it with his relentlessness

I am just not seeing that with Matthews.

Babcock mocked him when he put Komorov beside him... whatd you expect. Lol
