The SP market is barren unless you want to hand over most of your farm for deGrom.
No, that was Darvish.I don’t see the logic in this move by LA. Their offense is pretty good as it is. They lost last year because once again Kershaw failed them in a big spot. Their pitching depth is the issue more than anything.

Congrats to the Os for not giving cash. If the Cubs lose, I'd have rooted for the Dodgers anyways.
Kershaw stopped the bleeding in the 7th game after Darvish couldn’t last two innings and failed in the situation that the Dodgers acquired him for. People just love pointing to Kershaw as a scapegoat to cover up for other failures on that team. How about Bellinger’s 17 strikeouts? Jansen wasn’t very good in that series either especially compared to what he did in the NLDS and NLCS. I’m sorry but one game where neither starting pitcher did well didn’t prevent the Dodgers from winning the Series.Kershaw imploded in one of the Houston games though when they gave him either a 4-0 or 5-0 lead in the first few innings. You can’t do that mid series when you’re the ace of the staff. That may have been the eventual 14-13 game or whatever
Unfortunately, Kershaw is going to be blamed until they finally win one. Look at Ovechkin. It wasn't his fault that his team couldn't get over the hump, but he got blamed anyway.
He had a 3 run lead in game 5. He had a chance to put all his critics to silence. Unfortunately for him it didn't happen.Unfortunately, Kershaw is going to be blamed until they finally win one. Look at Ovechkin. It wasn't his fault that his team couldn't get over the hump, but he got blamed anyway.
Not every pitcher can be Superman. I bet everyone already forgot how a couple years ago Kershaw came in to relieve Jansen and close the NLDS.He had a 3 run lead in game 5. He had a chance to put all his critics to silence. Unfortunately for him it didn't happen.

This Michael Duarte guy needs better sources
Valera was in the Cardinals org at one point. He’s meh.Diaz, Bannon and Kremer are all very good pieces. Admittedly idk much about the other two.
He's 26 already. He was the throw in.Valera was in the Cardinals org at one point. He’s meh.
Up until this year Ovechkin was pretty bad in the postseason in big spots. Zero OT goals and it felt as if all his goals always came early on in games. When they needed him late he was always shooting wildly and missing the net. I’ll never forgot being at MSG maybe in 2012 for a playoff game vs the Caps and with 5 mins left or so the Rangers take 2 penalties. The next two minutes was bad shot after bad shot by Ovechkin and I remember thinking this guy is never winning anything
Darvish imploded in two World Series games including game 7. Laying this at the feet of Kershaw is just exposing your hate boner for the guy. Darvish was literally tipping his pitches.Kershaw imploded in one of the Houston games though when they gave him either a 4-0 or 5-0 lead in the first few innings. What did you expect for ~65 guaranteed games?meh return...
Remember these were the preseason rankings. All of these guys are having good years. Callis said the midseason rankings were 2, 15, 20, and ~ 30 which isn't bad at all. Especially coming from a deep system like LA's.Yuck.
