Where to start?

First period is on the entire defense group for being a f***ing joke and basically scoring 4 own goals through sheer incompetence. Also the goalie.

Second period is on a combination of the coach for continuing to play McDavid and Drai together despite 8 straight periods to that point of the two of them playing atrocious hockey together and McDrai themselves for treating any opportunity to play together like a f***ing all star game.

Third period is on the PP for once again f***ing flailing on a PP opportunity in a critical time. We never regained anything after we pissed that one into the wind.

Defense was a tire fire again. At what point does Bouchard get a night eating popcorn in the pressbox, and Kulak wasn’t much better.

Call up Gleason already, he had a good camp, and is getting some actual defensive coaching in the AHL instead of the who cares as long as we outshoot mentality here.

McDavid and Drai need to focus on D zone effort and coverage they flying when they have the puck but standing around watching when they don't.

Lol at the cross check penalty against Connor right after Hamblin got buried in front of the net and Connor got slashed, pro level Officiating right there.

Feels like this team can’t play defense and offense at the same time. They just limp into games, dip their toe, play scared, play tentative. Then start to try when its too late. Just a lost group of players.

This guy knows nothing about the players and this team. I don’t rate him at all, Woody spent all this time developing a relationship with these guys and a system to play within. He was the right guy for the job who was given the wrong tools.

Its on the goaltending. Carolina were absolute crap in 3rd period. Only get punished for 1GA. Oilers were weak in first period, get straffed for 4 goals in first 15mins.

The whole function of goaltending is getting some stops. Once again that wasn't happening with Skinner in the pipes.

To underline what an absolutute nothing Skinner is in net Pickard has been better, far better, both games he's played.
