1. RNH has a 70+ point season, gains some respect
2. Eberle is traded at the trade deadline (hopefully for a center or top 3 D, but probably for more wingers)
3. Yak starts slow, but finds his stride and plays good hockey from mid-November on.
4. Craig Ramsay takes over the head coach position
5. No jerseys are thrown on the ice this season

- Yakimov plays 60+ games and scores 25+ points.
- RNH finally breaks through and scores at 1PPG rate.
- Hall is Hall, he stays well over PPG with ~95 point season
- Ben Scrivens is starting to redeem himself as a legitimate starter after posting .920 and 2.15 season
- We have a bad start to the season but we sneak very close to a playoff spot by end of the regular season, we fall just short though (9th in the western conference)

Hopefully:
1) RNH shows he can be a number 1C
2) Eberle stops regressing
3) Schultz magically learns to play D
4) Fayne isn't the 2014 Jeff Finger
5) Nurse learns to play D and makes the WJHC team

Realistically:
1) Hall continues to light it up
2) Forwards still have no idea what to do in their own zone
3) Purcell on waivers
4) Too much responsibility given to Marincin and Klefbom
5) Nikitin shows why he was the #7 in Columbus

My relationship with the Oilers is abusive.

1 - Hendricks will perform poorly as the defensive centre and will be usurped by Lander.
2 - Eberle plays less than 50 games.
3 - Scrivens save percentage will be under .905.
4 - Draisaitl goes back to junior (RNH/Arcobello/Lander/Hendricks are the centres).
5 - RNH gets >70 points.

Bonus - Ryan Smyth added to pro scouting staff late in the year, about the time the Oilers are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.

Non-Oilers:
1 - Dallas wins the cup.
2 - Flames finish last in the league and lose the lottery.
3 - Montreal and Toronto only Canadian teams to make the playoffs.

1) nail yakupov has a breakout season in the sense that he breaks out of the penalty box and getting a game misconduct and suspension in the progress.

2) no one appreciates the intricate subtleties of purcells modest cellies.

3) local statisticians discover a positive correlation between the quality of ice girls and games played by bogdan yakimov.

4)Vladimir tkachev scores 65 points before having a arson ending snu snu related injury.

5) edmonton just barely makes the playoffs after Anaheim falls apart post getzlaf injury.

Like last season make 5 predictions about the oilers for this coming season

here are mine

1) Craig Ramsey will be head Coach by March
2) One of either Eberle, Hall or Hopkins will not be an oiler by march
3) Perron will finish with the most pts on the team
4) Pouliot and Fayne will take turns being the whipping boy of the oilers
5) Purcell does not get more then 20pts in the season

hail mary predictions (last year I called the collapse of the canucks)

1) Vancouver's head coach wins the Jack Adams
2) NYI make the final four
3) Marty B has no home till Decemeber
4) Gagner gets 60pts

sucked on my oiler predictions--but my four non oiler predictions were in the reality sense of could have happened

2. Both Yakimov and Drai start on the roster half right
3. We finish bottom 5 again Check
4. Hall demands a trade Not that we know of...
5. Lowe and MacT get promotionsNot quite, but are pretty much cemented in the organization for life

1. Draisaitl makes the Oilers out of camp and struggles...plays 60 games and gets 20 points
2. Petry is traded in January for a center
3. Hall scores 30 goals
4. RNH takes a step and scores 65 points
5. Oilers finish .500 (36-36-10) and pick 6th Overall

6. Yak is moved at the deadline after a mediocre 15 goals and 30 points for a player, B prospect and a 2nd rounder

-Draisaitl did struggle
-Petry was traded
-Hall didn't get 30 due to injury
-RNH did take a step
-Oilers not even close to 36 wins
-almost got Yak's production right..glad he wasn't traded

all in all, not bad
