Absolutely No! The idea for the Leafs would be to re-unite Marner and Tkachuk. So Any deal involving Matthews (highly unlikely) would instantly include the winger and then some.

Revisit what Quebec got for Eric Lindros, add more draft picks for the cash they exchanged and add from there if you also want Kapanen and Barrie!
