Goals dont trump anything else, but when you do 70 of them it does.

Didnt even hit 110 points while mack and kucherov went to 140.

These guys finished neck and neck in pants, so it's a zero sum argument. Why wasn't Kucherov better against worse teams? Does he not try in games against poorer opponents?

Nah, clearly Kuch just saves his most valuableness for more important regular season games because those points matter more in the standings.
MacK just wastes his valuableness for the playoffs which are never guaranteed.

He don't feel no need to pad stats against unfortunate organization's. He's promoting the sport by lifting their confidence level keeping it competitive. However it isn't fruitful becsuse more illsint people like the Canadians take every opportunity to pick on the poor for their own personal gratification and glory.
