Proposal: Mackinnon for Hayes and Zibanajad

If NYR offered up two 24 year old 50 point centers who both are rfa´s after the contract they are on now, would Avs take it? Mackinnon has no doubt struggled to be consistent but he has all the talent in the world to be great. After 300 NHL games he has 0,69 ppg average which is around 56 points per 82 games. If NYR said that we need to have a superstar center to have a chance at winning and would take the "risk" on Mackinnon becoming that and turning into a consistent 70+ scorer with the NYR, would Avs take Zibanajad and Hayes for him?

The Avs are definitely not going to trade their franchise center for merely two wingers or players. Good draft picks and prospects must come back as well.
