- Watching the scoreboard tonight, The Red Wings try to keep their playoff streak alive as they play their second game in as many nights against the Maple Leafs. The Blue Jackets will try to take 2 points out from the eye the Hurricane.

Yep. It wouldn't surprise me to see Nurse have a stronger game tonight. I don't think Nurse is a guy you should be putting out there as the safe/stable guy on a pairing, rather you'd be better off to let him be the one to push the play, and have his partner cover for him.


Actually with Clendening out, even though the defence looks weak as s**t, there's not really that one weak pairing, the one whom you knew is gonna to bleed chances against throughout the game.

During the Flames-LA game commentators mentioned that this BOA should have been the last game played at Rexall. Kinda like worthy ending for a storied rivalry and building at the same time. Honestly I didnt realize this before, so has there been any talk about this in Edmonton?
