This actually isn't as eggriegious as I was expecting with the article being promoted.
Just a new age trend with agents imo. Allan Walsh & Dan Millstein tweet positive stuff about their guys too. It is interesting to see though.

I really don’t understand the point of a tweet like that? Who’s he campaigning too? Are there actually GM’s out there that will read his tweet and say “Hey, this Luke Schenn guy sounds like a great fit!”

Cap space is king. Schenn's contract is extremely affordable and he is a perfect #5-7 dman for any contending team.
In normal circumstances he wouldn't fetch much, but due to the current situation with a flat cap I think people are going to be surprised for how much he goes for if traded.

in what world is Benn a Schenn equivalent?? Benn was not good enough in a bottom pairing role for the canucks nor the wild the last 3 years, he may have an occasional adeqate game, whereas Schenn is a consistent as they come, not to mention the ability to cover for a guy like Reilly.
