Preds in 5. Can't win every game with 12 shots on net. See ya pit.
Yes, also a terrible series of gargantuan proportions. Good call.

Yes it was!Wasnt it 6? also the record is for the home team.
Shots on goal per period for Toronto:It was on May 8, 2000. Leafs @ Devils, game 6. Elimination game. Leafs got 6 shots. Brodeur made 6 saves.
The Predators only had 26 shots with minimal scoring opportunities. It wasn't like the Pens were hanging on for dear life. It was a bad game that should be corrected tomorrow.
Not getting a shot on goal for 37 minutes is not "Score effects."
Pens will luck their way into winning just like they did against Washington. All hail our Crosby overlord. He can do no wrong. Crosby-bot is self-sustaining. All hail Crosby-bot.
People saying this is the worst game in Pens' playoff history never watched the series they had against the Flyers a few years ago.
Why did the forwards stop shooting once they gained the zone? Sure the Preds weren't giving the best shooting angles but you can't go 37 minutes without a shot and expect to win. The Pens got away with one here thanks to Rinne.
Why is no one talking about this? All I hear is how they had five goals on 12 shots or how they went 37 minutes of play without a shot.
Sure, both things surprising for the defending champs ...BUT....
They won this game with the lowest shot total in playoff history.
As in what 100 years? And it happens in the final...to the home team defending champions....who score 5 goals?
Strange doesent begin to describe it.
That would be a improvement over haniseyI'm pretty sure Sullivan could find a way to coach around having a wet pile of cardboard on his 3rd D pairing.

It supposedly the lowest amount of shots in a SC final game. Not any playoff game. Leafs' 6 obvs weren't in the final.
Predators shouldn't have won Game 6 vs Anaheim, karma came back to them in Game 1 of Stanley Cup Finals.
lol, 12 shots and one legit goal. 37 minutes without a shot.
We'll see tonight.
If the same happens, we'll have the same kids saying "this is the only two times this will EVER happen".
Happens again ? "This is the only three times this will EVER happen".
You can't fix it.
