I understand we're playing like shit but it's entirely possible Vegas lays back a little and focuses on D. I don't think they rack up a ton more at this point but whatever I'm usually wrong.

From around 5 minutes in the 1st to around 5 minutes in the 2nd, basically a full period our expected goals went from 0.954 to 1.008, a little more than half a tenth of a goal. In that same span, the Golden Knights raised their expected goals from 1.188 to 4.032. So basically the score over that 20 minutes and some change should've been 2.84 to 0.054.

It's impressive to be that incompetent offensively for a period of hockey.
