Flyers lose. Pens down 2 with 11:37 left in the third. Islanders down one after two. Devils winning after the 1st.

You can do it Panthers/Blackhawks/Flames.

So who was Harrison compensating for tonight when he got behind forwards and had to take a penalty? :sarcasm:

Seriously though, the D played well, Cam played well. The offense just isn't there right now. The shoot out is still a black hole. Will take the 6 points in 5 games for sure though.

Man faceoffs were brutal tonight, can we dress Brind'amour to come out and take faceoffs for us?

It really is ridiculous that we go from Francis...to Brindamour...to Eric Staal.

I understand that Staal was sheltered from having to take faceoffs for most of his career, but at some point, he should pick up the basics, yeah?

It seems like Patrick Dwyer's name should be Patty O'Dwyer. Just sounds better.

Please no. A group of 50 year old women gravitated towards this nickname and every player out there with 9 on their back was Patty O'Dwyer. It was ****ing brutal.

At least you guys don't have the LA feed. They've gotten the names wrong way more than getting them right. Jordan Staal is pretty much every Canes player tonight. Skinner is now Hainsey.

They actually called Gerbe Staal. Might want to get their eyes checked.

Dating back to 2011-2012, we're 6-23 in extra time. Sure we weren't supposed to even get to the shootout, but leaving so many points on the table year after year has gotten me fed up.

Anyways, I really don't think we got outplayed tonight. We had plenty of chances, the finishing just wasn't there. I'm also surprised at how much **** we got away with. Seriously, on any other night we would've been called twice as much as we were. Ward stood on his head, Skinner continues to be our best player, and Faulk and EStaal looked like garbage.

The whole team is terrible at faceoffs. Skinner is 50% then it's downhill from there. Lindholm is 48.4%, Jordan is 45.5%, Eric is 42.1%, Sutter is 41.9% and Nash is 37.5%.

Well, of course. We are five games into the season and in the fifth game we lost a gazillion faceoffs. A much larger sample size shows that both Eric and Jordan are at least average at faceoffs. The rest? They probably suck.
