And the funny thing is that Nantes was facing Toulouse and its goalie Guillaume Restes, highly touted and rated 18 year old who looks like a copy of Lafont when he started at Toulouse.
Well, Restes was named as best goalie of the first round of L1 by L'Equipe for his game against Nantes.
You can say that Guillaume has put the doubters…..to rest.

Lyon is imploding....

Blanc is going to be fired very soon.
Blanc was mostly excellent at PSG but he has been underwhelming in his last two appointments. Sad to see considering how long he was out of the game. Maybe that caught up to him.

He took Lyon as 3rd best team last year over his tenure.
But this team has lost Dembele, Aouar and especially Lukeba. No signing yet.
They're playing a teen at RB, they need 2 CBs, their LB wants to leave, their starting Wi Ger wants to leave... They're really all about Caqueret, Cherki and Lacazette.
Blanc hated the new owners and gets zero help.

Happy Spurs never chose Enrique.
Weird.
He has managed to drastically change the way PSG plays.
Breaking down regrouped defenses isn't easy in Ligue 1 but PSG will get there.

Last year PSG was playing teams off the pitch at this time of year.

I like what I see so far especially with so many new players.

Also Jordan player Al Tamari scored a f***ing great goal. Imagine if it was Messi scoring this.
Ran 50 yards with the ball, nutmegged Caleta Car and scored with cool with his left foot.

I don’t think Neymar or Messi were in any way “the” problem at PSG, but I do think they can build something “better” focusing on French talents who want to be there.

I had no idea Lyon were under new ownership. I really haven't followed enough sports lately.

Bordeaux ! Troyes maybe.
PFC had a great thing going two years ago or so but chose the worst defensive coach and failed.
But yeah it'd be cool to see the most supported team in Paris in L1. In terms of hardcore fans.

Excellent so far but very young and unproven.

Then again Baleba moved for 30M this week.

Was checking him out following up on another one that I had mentioned to you over the summer. He’s definitely raw but great size and interesting tool kit. I think he probably winds up in midfield but doing a job in back three at the moment. New Tchouameni?

PSG beat Lens cleanly 3-0. A balanced first half, all PSG in the second.
Lens took a lot of risk, trying to play high and 1 on 1. Could have worked, but PSG used quick transitions with Dembele and Mbappe, which is very different from Enrique's usual pattern.

Ugarte was amazing once again, as was Zaire Emery.
Enrique has put WZE as sure fire starter. He's 17.

Lens is a disaster.

Ben Yedder's face when they subbed on Balogun was hilarious.
Lens is struggling but they played 3 top teams in 4 games.
They have been very good in some plays, but are leaking goals. Monaco scored 3 tonight out of less than 1 xG. Lens also was very good against PSG in the first half.
