Rennes loses at home against Lorient. Nice, Monaco, Rennes...not a good start for lots of next tier teams if they ever harboured any hopes to keep within a striking distance of PSG.

We'll see how Marseille does in the evening.

Monaco won though?

Tough start for Auxerre today.. hopefully not a sign of things to come for them..

Then and there
Marseille look on their way to a win, 3-1 up with 5 mins to go. Arsenal loanee Folarin Balogun pulled one back for Reims soon after coming on as a late sub.

Edit: Luis Suarez (Colombian) with two goals, looks like a good signing already.

Then and there
Moses Simon puts Nantes ahead against Lille from close range into the empty net. I guess it could have been offside, but apparently not, it was very close though.

Well that’s a f***ing awful call on Fofana. I get that he stepped on Terrier but Terrier lunged out after the ball. What is Fofana supposed to do there? Also these commentators that Fubo/Bein have hired for these games are f***ing garbage and ruin the game. Had to go back to the PL games where at least these guys watch the games.

Mbappe misses his PK, which was given for handball after 22 mins.

Edit: He makes amends some 15 minutes later as his pass turned into an own goal. Mamadou Sakho spotted int the stands, btw.

Edit2: Neymar doesn't miss his penalty and makes it 2-0 just before half-time.

Probably doesn't mean much, he scored now. Just frustation.

Edit: Messi to Neymar, it's 5-1 now. Or not, disallowed. But then Renato Sanches really makes it 5-1, just a moment after entering the match.

Mbappe has done it, he's become the most whining bitch and unlikeable pleayer in a team with Neymar (who's been on crazy form to start the year, please keep it up till the WC), Verratti and Sergio Ramos. What a turn heel.

No way he should be the #1 penalty taker over Neymar

Evilo, how has Vitinha been? I've only caught a few glimpses but looks as if he's a bit intimidated by the players around him and their massive status, and is playing it safe as a result. Don't see him dribbling through players or being as direct as he can usually be. He must be also directed to be a bit more conservative in a midfield 2 though with no holding midfielder?

It was a good cross from Clauss and a good run from Nuno Tavares, but it wasn't the smoothest of finishes, but they all count.

Lol even Nuno Tavares looks like world class in this league.

U watching this on Sportexpressen play?

The great Evilo is banned in this thread until 24 aug. Quote him in another thread, pm him or just wait to 24 aug.
