Lafont was a bit unlucky on this he, came out of his goal like a rocket but could only deflect the chip and it still went in.

Feels good for Geubbels though, after all this injury years. I'm not sure how this guy is going to develop, but missing two pro years between 17 and 19 is usually too much.
But if a guy has enough talent to overcome it, it's certainy him.

For those who don't know his story, it's quite interesting.
Geubbels was the gem of the Lyon academy (which does say a lot).
But he thought he had the qualities to play pro and Lyon wouldn't give him time.
So he informed Lyon that he wouldn't sign pro with them. But instead of leaving like all those youngsters, he told Man City, Leipzig, Monaco, Bayern and Ajax and all his pursuers that Lyon should be compensated for his formation.
So he accepted to go to the highest bidder. Monaco put 20M on him (for a single year of youth contract) and thus he moved there.
Then he was injured, came back, injured himself, came back and injured himself again. In two years, he accumulated 20 minutes of pro football.
This year, he's finally healthy enough to play. For how long though?

Payet is better than all of those except Verratti, Neymar, Icardi, and Mbappe. Everyone else cannot match with the elegance of the technique skills of Dmitri Payet. The bottom three all have better potential, but not there yet.

Payet has tougher competition in AM than Navas, Marquinhos, Kimpembe do. Aouar has better potential. Di Maria is insanely overrated, give me Payet. Payet makes Thauvin the player he is. Camavinga has better potential. Bruno wants to eventually become of someone like Payet quality.
