Looks like a good AHL scorer. Probably a sign we're going to keep some rookies on the main roster and need scoring down there.

Well then. This isn't a good sign.

Actually, I think it's if it's before 30 days after claiming him. Meaning, you can't just claim him and demote him for your AHL roster right away. He needs to stay on TB's roster for a certain amount of time

And yet again, another French-Canadian underdog who gets an opportunity to proves a lot of people wrongs thanks to the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Bonne chance Danick!

This is someone who’s a borderline NHL Player. He’s a good waiver pick up.

He’s extremely undersized, but plays a grittier game. He isn’t necessarily afraid to drop his gloves or go to the net. Very speedy, decent back check, but leaves a lot to be desired defensively. His shot is good which is a direct corrleation to the energy he brings in the Ozone. His best offensive attribute in his wrist shot. It’s nothijg spectacular. His slap shot is kind of soft with not much accuracy. His wrist shot is NHL B6 caliber.

He needs to get stronger. Board play is meh/okay. His size is what hurts in in 1-1. Martel needs to get around the defender in order to make something happen. He’s most effective in open space.

Good pick up. He plays well with better players, again, because they create open space. He could see time in the NHL.

No he doesn’t he goes back on waivers and philly has a chance to claim him again. If no other nhl teamplaces a claim along with philly, they are able to directly send him to the ahl.

I'm pretty sure PHI gets first dibs though

Smallish players do not seem to be a problem with the Tampa Bay organization. Will be interesting to see where he plays.
