Not the 90s or early 2000s anymore where it was the **** to pick a high number. That classic haircut and a *****in >30 number.

29 is pretty slick, nobody uses with authority it since Felix Potvin.

I forgot about Potvin, but when I think of that number, Dryden comes to mind right away for me.

Seeing 29 gets me a little excited, reminds me of Weight.

I think you're thinking of #39

I've worn 29 my whole life as a tender and a player, love it - but that 71 looks kinda slick, imo

Not big enough name?
nathan.jpg.size.xxlarge.letterbox.jpg

Also, Bickell, Ott, Nelson and Pominville wear it. That doesn't mean it isn't my favorite option.
Not a big enough name. Most casual fans don't know who he is yet. Anyways my friend told me he heard on a radio interview he said he was going to wear 29. Can anyone confirm that?

I m getting sick of the higher numbers but 71 fits his build.
29 looks best on him, is the number he will choose, and has an element of old school class in my opinion.

Plus i always like seeing 9s on oilers jerseys because weight and anderson are two of my favorite oilers.

#29 would look best because it's rather unique for a forward. #71 is a Malkin knock-off and #15 is very generic.
