Surprised the ref didn't even blink on that play. That's just stupid.

Unsafe play that results in a head injury... seems like prime "Wheel of Morality" from the DoPS territory.

Given Komarov's history, I wouldn't be surprised if he at least got a fine, especially since he wasn't penalized in the game (which I can't understand for the life of me).

Not that it really changes anything but it is just as likely that he hurt his shoulder on that hit. We don't really know.

The outcome shouldn't impact the possibility of suspension, but the Dips, err DoPS almost always seems to weigh the injury side of things rather than just ruling on legality and/or risk.

Gostisbehere ruled out for rest of game with upper body injury.

not saying its suspension worthy etc just how can they not even call this a penalty?

It's because of Babcock standing behind the bench. He still carries that "clean and gentlemanly" reputation from coaching in Detroit in the Datsyuk days for some reason and at this point it's self-perpetuating.

Ghost seemed genuinely surprised he was getting shoved head first into the boards. Ref was right there. Weird.
