And what a big body of work that was.

You clearly have no grasp of how contract negotiations go.
You don't have a clue about contract negotiations since Michael Frolik was not eligible for arbitration.

Also,

Mark Lazerus ‏@MarkLazerus 1m
His agent said yesterday they're trying to work out a two-year deal. RT @ski0331USMC: @MarkLazerus any word on Kruger?

The guy who outright dismisses bodies of work with previous teams accuses someone else of not having a clue about contract negotiations.

The Chicago Blackhawks overpaid Michael Frolik. The Chicago Blackhawks traded Michael Frolik. The Chicago Blackhawks corrected a contractual error.

Regardless of the contract, this season him and Kruger were PK specialists. 2 mil for a 4th liner is crazy, but I wouldn't be surprised if Frolik produced a little more now that he isn't buried on the 4th line in Chicago.

Micahel Frolik played a third of a season with the Chicago Blackhawks. His contract should have been based consummensurate with his role and production with the Chicago Blackhawks as a third line right winger not with the Florida Panthers as a top 6 forward.

Players finishing their third NHL season don't negotiate contracts based on 28 regular-season games with a new team.

Neither do GMs. Neither do player agents. Neither does anyone in the real world.

That only happens in SLarmer28 fantasy land.

Should have sulked like Stalberg when he didn't get his way ;)
Viktor Stalberg believes he is a top 6 forward in the NHL. If the San Jose Sharks trading TJ Galiardi to the Calgary Flames is an omen, Viktor can now join his brother with that organization.

Too bad it doesn't work like that, otherwise Chicago could trade for a star player on an expiring contract, stick them on the 4th line, and use that to justify offering them a 4 year, 3M contract.

I can't believe you're still going on.

I love this board.

Click on a link about Leddy signing a deal, sees 2 pages of discussion about Micheal Frolik.

AWESOME!

Glad Leddy is back, would have liked longer, if he really pans out in 2 years he could get 4+ million a year.

Stick to the topic at hand, Michael Frolik, who was never a NHL All-Star. The Chicago Blackhawks payed for potential and lost.

I'd love to hear your rational for Dustin Byfuglien's contract since he never scored 20 goals in a NHL season yet received a 3 year, $9 million contract when the salary cap was $56.7 million for the 2008-09 NHL Season.
