Sparks stood tall and we destroyed them 5 on 5. A little more discipline (or some less trigger happy refs) and this game wouldn't have been very close IMO. Definitely some encouraging signs tonight!

Oven then stomach
Sparks and Schneider basically dueled it out tonight. One guy is Sparks the other is Schneider. Crazy how Sparks has done so far.

Sparks gave up two bad PP goals. One really bad one. But he made up for it. Great win!!!!!

How is the first one bad? A tipped shot is incredibly hard to stop, especially in that close. I wouldn't even blame Toskala for that. Second one, yeah, probably stoppable.

Overall, he's making the saves he needs to make and making huge saves on top of that.

Reimer+Sparks: 3-1+7-4-4 for 10-5-4. Or 24 points in 19 games. 103 point pace, as poster a few messages up pointed out.

Bernier has single-handedly made this team an otherwise 103 point pace team the 29th team in the league. Unbelieveable. I don't care if he shuts out every remaining Marlies game. He can rot down there.

You really think this is a 100 point team? Come on, be real!

Panel is dumb. Called a tip from 7ft out a bad goal for Sparks to let in. Talk about credibility.

Holland has looked great with Kadri and Komorov. I like him better as a winger.

I think he'll be a solid second or third line winger going forward. He's good on both the PK, PP, and shootout which is helpful also!
