Flames/Burkie will be hungry for some revenge. Hopefully they can beat the Flyers tonight and get Saturdays humiliating loss to the Oilers out of their system and lessen their hunger Wednesday.

Looking forward to the next few weeks, have Calgary/Edmonton/Carolina coming up. Somehow I've only been to one game this year.

1. Bench Polak
2. Insert Carrick
3. Keep Bozak out and run the lines from the 2nd period onwards from Saturday
4. Play like they did from the 2nd period onwards

Bozak still sick.

Today's practice lines:

Hyman - Matthews - Brown
Marleau - Kadri - Komarov
VanRyk - Nylander - Marner
Martin - Moore - Leivo

Nylander centering Marner and JVR is insane. The amount of skill between them is near unstoppable.

Start time in the thread title is wrong, lads.

I thought the Flames looked as lifeless & flat as any team that rolled through the ACC last season.

They followed that up with an equally disjointed performance against the Leafs last week.

There's no way they make it 3 in a row against Toronto, do they? Not with some of the raw skill they have in their lineup.

Wonderful. If this is any indication, Babcock is going to revert to those same garbage lines we had when Bozak was in the line-up. Nylander going back to the 4th line while Leivo will sit, f***ing classic.

unfortunately the one game they were used together last year it didn't work well.

hopefully they get a longer look this year.

I doubt that line will even make it to the game. Nylander is just serving as a placeholder for Bozak in practice. Once Bozak is back, Nylander will go back to the 4th line if these lines are any indication.

could be. though usually babs uses a placeholder for a guy that's coming back in, not to mention he split up those lines early last game.

It could be a forerunner to a trade, if he can handle the position, Bozak could be traded and by the way if Bozak is down with a cold, it must be a real doozy, to last from Friday up to today, however if Nylander can't handle the job, he may be the player moving, there has been lot of talk because he is an RFA and may be looking for big bucks and teams are looking for young high scoring players?

so nylander did nothing wrong on Matthews line on Saturday night in fact he and Matthews wher ethe most dangerous leaf forwards but bozak is sick so down to the 4th line willy after practicing as a C for a few days. Babcock needs serious calling out for demoting Nylander who it can be argued has been our best forward for 3 or 4 games in a row now

ridiculous take, if he cant handle C he is out the door?. Nylander like marner aren't going anywhere unless its for a #1Dman and who is trading that for them?

Not really he looked like was coming around but if he is looking for more than Lou can allow for in the cap that would be the underlining reason, Babcock has used him as a Winger for as long as he has been here and why wouldn't he use Marleau as the center on that line?
