For which team is the question.
What can we say. Our team inspires confidence.
this really sums up the season.....Where is the needle going to land on the wheel of effort tonight?
What and find out at the same time the coaching staff do
Inspirational stuff
If you look under “absence makes the heart grow fonder” there’s a pic of Ceci.
He was never as bad defensively as he was characterized around here. I don’t love the guy but welcome back.
We're actually decent in B2B games under Keefe. 2-1-2 from what I see.
And skill>>>physical
Skill is above effort, it’s what allows the leafs with minimal effort to be fighting for a playoff spot while the Senators who put full effort in are a bottom feederEffort >>> skill >>> physical
Good thing you can teach effort much more than you can teach skill.Effort >>> skill >>> physical
Skill is above effort, it’s what allows the leafs with minimal effort to be fighting for a playoff spot while the Senators who put full effort in are a bottom feeder
It’s skill mixed with effort that makes an elite team though (e.g Boston)
But that's why you need to value skill more, effort you can change. You can't teach the skill our players haveId argue that’s not the case, all the skill they have never changes, but when the effort does, they win more.
Ottawa will lose no matter what amount of effort they put in. Not true for the Leafs
But that's why you need to value skill more, effort you can change. You can't teach the skill our players have
A perfect combo is effort and skill, but choosing between the two I'd take skill everyday
There we can agree, this team will go nowhere without consistent effortIm just talking about this team and what it lacks, but you can still have all the skill in the world and it’s not going to help you if you don’t care enough about winning.
That's because they have no skill.Ottawa will lose no matter what amount of effort they put in.
He can eat up the minutes tooGlad Ceci is back. I know that he will continue to get (unfairly) shit on by most of the fanbase, but he has not played badly this year, and even when the D core is completely healthy he will definitely be (and deserves to be) in the lineup (ahead of Marincin, Sandin, Liljegren and Rosen). Incidentally, Sandin's and Ceci's underlying numbers and traditional numbers were much better when playing together than without - ie 56.65 xGF% and 52.63 HDCF% with Ceci and Sandin (Sandin's numbers improve because the defensive numbers are better, Ceci's numbers improve because the offensive numbers are better).
